Morgan Whiteman, LCSW

I’m thrilled to rejoin DFM as their first LCSW with a focus on *behavioral health. My journey at Denver Family Medicine started in 2010 as a Medical Assistant after graduating from the University of Denver with a BA in biology. Half this time was spent in a leadership role within the team of medical assistants. During 2017, I returned to the University of Denver to pursue my Masters in Social Work with a focus in health and wellness. I’m excited rejoin the DFM family as we increase our focus on mental health and well-being.

*Behavioral health is the scientific study of emotions, behaviors and biology relating to a person’s well-being, their ability to function in everyday life and their concept of self.

I have lived in Denver since 2005 after growing up in Chicago. I live with my husband, two husky mutts and our recently born baby girl. Living in Colorado has allowed our family to enjoy numerous outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking and any other chance to appreciate the state’s natural beauty.
